Mount Kenya University stand was the star attraction during this year’s Mount Kenya Show held recently in Nanyuki town. Many visitors to the stand were eager to know how they can enroll for the various academic programmes. The Schools of Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine and Health Sciences received the most inquiries.
The MKU stand attracted more than 3,000 visitors, with most of them undergoing some free medical tests that included Body Mass Index, blood pressure, and blood sugar tests. Laikipia County Commissioner Mr.Wycliffe O. Ogallo was one of the visitors to the MKU stand. “The response was overwhelming,” said Ms Nelly Kayanda, of the corporate affairs department. “Thanks to full accreditation of our academic programmes, many people were eager to enroll."
