Writing Successful Grant Proposals Workshop

We are pleased to invite you to the workshop on Writing Successful Grant Proposals to be held on April 29-30, 2014 at Jacaranda Hotel, Nairobi. This practical workshop is part of APHRC’s research capacity building and strengthening program and is designed to give your grant proposal writing an edge and help you build productive relationships with donors.

The workshop is intended for those handling and managing grants in government agencies and non-profit organizations, post graduate students, faculty, faith based organizations and individual researchers. The workshop will comprehensively address both practical and conceptual aspects important to the grant proposal writing process. The topical areas to be covered include: identifying and conceptualizing research ideas for development, communicating effectively with potential funders, perspectives on proposal review and analysis, forging winning collaborations and partnerships and effective budgeting and setting realistic project timelines.

The workshop attendance fee is KES 35,000 per person. This amount covers registration fee, conference package, handouts and stationery at the workshop venue. This amount does not include accommodation and transport costs.
