Top most searched varsity revealed

 The University of Nairobi tops the list of the most searched universities after the release of KCSE results last month

Mount Kenya University came second,according to last month’s Google Trends, while Kenyatta University was listed as third. Others were Moi University, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya Methodist University ,Strathmore University and Kabarak University in that order.

Google Trends is a public tool that displays search volumes and queries that people want to know about through the search engine.

Google communications and Public Affairs Manager Dorothy Ooko said the interest in learning institutions demonstrates a growing need for education.
