Integrated Management System Policy
Mount Kenya University is committed to the provision of world-class education, research, and innovation for individual transformation and sustainable development.
For this purpose, the University has implemented an Integrated Management System (IMS), in accordance with the requirements of:

•  ISO 9001 Quality Management System and
•  ISO 27001 Information Security Management System
  In pursuit of this commitment, Mount Kenya University shall:
•  Provide efficient services through enhanced customer satisfaction, and the preservation of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information
•  Monitor its context and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, contractual and other applicable requirements of the Integrated Management System
• Provide a framework for establishing and implementing the integrated management system objectives at relevant functional levels based on the overall objectives as contained in the university’s strategic plan.
• Ensure the integrated management system is maintained and continually improved

This Policy has the full commitment of Management and shall be reviewed periodically for continual suitability and made available to relevant interested parties.
