I am happy to stand here this morning to join the rest of us at MKU in re-affirming our commitment towards digitizing our academic administration and redefining pedagogy at MKU. UnIRP introduces smart automation into every facet of academic life, creating an environment where teaching, learning, and research thrive. This aligns with MKU’s vision of becoming a global leader in higher education.

UnIRP transforms key academic processes:

• Curriculum mapping and review, ensuring our programs remain relevant to industry needs and global standards.
• Student progression monitoring, allowing faculty to track academic performance and intervene early.
• Digital examination integrity via randomization, auto- marking, and anti-cheating technologies like AI-proctoring.

This aligns directly with our research strategy: fostering global partnerships, securing funded innovation, and digitizing grant applications to make research more accessible and impactful.

Modules Being Launched

We are pleased to announce the rollout of four critical UnIRP modules:

1. Student Academic Lifecycle Module: This Manages the entire student journey—from application, registration, and course allocation.
2. Academic & Examination Module: This secures grade entry, and result Staff will be able to generate exam reports with a single click.

• CRM Module: This enhances student relations by tracking interactions and building personalized feedback.

1. Integrated Research Management: Which links publications, research projects, and funding streams, making it easier for the faculty to secure grants and collaborate globally.

Each module is backed by role-based security and GDPR- compliant data protocols, ensuring privacy and trust.

Call to Action for Faculty & Students

To our faculty: UnIRP is your toolkit for innovation. Use its integrated Micros p6; it5oft Teams tools to redesign your classrooms. Leverage student analytics to tailor support and improve pass rates. For example, UnIRP’s dashboards can

identify students struggling with specific units, allowing you to offer academic advisory on time.

To our students: You now have a personalized portal for unit selection and results accessible on your mobile. Use it to take control of your academic journey. We have launched a Student Feedback Forum within UnIRP, where you can share ideas for improving the system and shaping your learning experience.

Setting Global Standards

UnIRP positions MKU on the map in African higher education and globally. By integrating AI, analytics, and secure technologies, we are not merely adapting to global trends—we are setting them. Our partnerships will bring cutting-edge tools to our faculty and students, from cloud-based research platforms to AI-driven learning modules.

To ensure success, we will be establishing a Research Excellence Dashboard, where faculty can track their publications and citations in real-time.
